Loving Pink

Just a collection of pretty pink things and why I love them.

           Stila Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush

I have found this Stila Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush in Shimmering Lotus on one of my TK Maxx trips while browsing the beauty section. It really is down to luck whether you find something good (and untouched) in the shop so when I saw this for £4 I wasn't gonna leave it for someone else to take home.
I didn't know what to expect from this product but I was pleasantly surprised.
It has an unusual texture for a blush. As it's a water-based product it is quite runny in texture but also a bit gel-like. You need to work fast, one cheek at a time because it sets fast. I like to apply it with my Real Techniques stippling brush and blend it with a sponge. You only need a tiny amount of it to get a healthy-looking glow, but it can also be buildable if you want to go for a stronger cheek colour. This shade, Shimmering Lotus is a gorgeous golden peachy pink, the perfect summer blush colour!

When we go home to Hungary my boyfriend always likes to stock up on perfumes because it's cheaper to buy it at home but I never get anything. This time he wanted to get me something and even though I insisted that I really don't need a new perfume he chose this Hugo Boss Boss Ma Vie fragrance for me. And I'm so happy he did because over our holiday I wore it and I fell in love with it. It's so floral and feminine and I love the simple bottle.

And because I'm rubbish at identifying and describing scents, please see the notes below! :)
Top Notes: Cactus Blossom
Heart Notes: Pink Floral Bouquet with Rose Bud
Base Notes: Cedarwood
This year I fell in love with the Essie Gel Couture range. This pink shade, Model Citizen is the newest addition to my growing collection. It's so easy to work with these polishes. They are opaque in two layers and they tend to last 5-7 days on my nails.
Looks great on the nails as well as on the toes for the warmer months.

Revlon Balm Stain in Loveable Adorable
I have to admit that unlike most beauty bloggers, I am not a fan of liquid lipsticks and I tend to go for more hydrating, sheer lip options like this one from Revlon. I got this last year but I didn't reach for it much until this spring. I like that it's fuss-free, I can apply it without a mirror, gives a nice pinky colour to the lips and it has a fresh, minty scent.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your beauty favourites for the summer months?
