Orange lips for spring and summer? My top 3 choices!

With spring and summer around the corner, it's time to put our dark wintery burgundy and dark brown shades away and whip out the bright pinks and oranges! I personally love orange shades, I think they complement my skin, eye and hair colour very well. Today I will show you my 3 favourites!

This is a true bright orange crayon lipstick from Revlon that has a great colour payoff on the lips, as well as good staying power. This mint-scented chubby stick is super comfortable on the lips and makes your teeth look whiter!
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - Juicy Papaya (discontinued since)
This lip butter has a more sheer formula, and leaves only a little bit of pinky/orange colour on the lips. This is great for those who are not brave enough to wear a bright orange lipstick yet or if you are still in school and only want a little bit of colour on your lips, or if your eye makeup is super heavy and you don't want anything strong on the lips. As this has more of a hydrating lip balmy texture, the colour is not very long lasting.
This amplified lipstick from MAC is the perfect spring/summer shade. Thanks to its creamy formula this lipstick is very comfortable but also has a good staying power. This has to be my favourite coral/orange lippie in my collection. Vegas Volt needs a smooth lip as a base, it would stick in the lines of chapped lips, which is not the best look, so exfoliate your lips before applying this this product.
I wanted to include a lipliner in the list just to show what I would pair these lipsticks with. This intense orange liner from Sleek is a super long-lasting formula, the swatch on my hand would hardly come off even after scrubbing. This liner is perfect paired with Rendezvous, but if applied with a lighter hand it can be matched with the other two above mentioned lip products as well. Although this liner is creamy while applied, if you don't put something moisturising over it, it can get quite uncomfortable on the lips
Which orange lipsticks are your favourites?
