Mini MAC Haul

I ran out of my favourite foundation, and I also found exactly 6 (what a luck!) used up MAC products when I was at home in Hungary, so these were two big enough reasons for me to visit a MAC counter!

It was no question that I'm repurchasing the Studio Fix Fluid foundation in my usual NC15, but for my Back2MAC lipstick I was quite indecisive which colour to go for. It is so easy to get lost in the lipstick counter 'cause there are just too many choices, so I always like to go there with a clear mind, and definite choice.

I am dangerously close to running out of Dolce Vita by NARS which I use as my everyday lipstick, so I looked up if there was any dupe for that in the MAC range, and I saw a lot of people recommending the colour Cosmo. I never heard of this before, but they really looked similar on the pictures and it's basically a free lipstick, I had nothing to lose, so I picked this Cosmo colour.

Cosmo is a beautiful brownish pink, perfect for everyday wear. It is a bit darker and not as sheer as NARS' Dolce Vita, and is also more long-wearing, but I could not apply it without a mirror, like I can do with Dolce Vita. I really like the Amplified formula because it is creamy, comfortable to wear, and wears off nicely with time leaving a tint over the lips. I think I made a good choice with Cosmo!
I also want to extend my MAC eyeshadow collection this year and decided to pick up two single eyeshadows. I decided to get the pro palette refill pans this time. Not only are they cheaper without the plastic holder, but I can save myself some time not having to depot them. I went for Mulch and Woodwinked, as I read so many good reviews about both. Although they look similar in the pan after being swatched they are so different from each other!
Mulch is a dark reddish brown colour with a bit of bronze shimmer running through it.
Woodwinked looks so different on the skin, it is a beautiful light golden shade.
I think these two shades would be perfect paired together, with Woodwinked on the lid, and Mulch in the crease to darken the look up.

I am really happy with my new products! It is always nice to try new things out and then incorporate them with your already loved items!

I hope you liked this small MAC haul. See you in my next post!:)
