Makeup of the day

Today I went out to buy some Christmas cards, and to pick up some things from Boots. On days like these I like to do something fast and just get out of the door as fast as possible but still look decent and put together.

For my base I mixed two foundations, one pump of my all-time favourite MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15, and half a pump of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51 Light Vanille. By mixing them I get the high coverage from MAC, while the Bourjois leaves a bit of glow. Under my eyes I used the L'Oréal True Match La Touche Magique Concealer in Ivory Beige, and MAC's Studio Finish in NC15 on any blemishes. For powder Soap&Glory's One Heck of a Blot is great to set the under-eye area, for other parts of my face I go in with the MAC MSF Natural in Light Plus.

To add some colour back to the face I bronzed up a little bit with MAC's Matte Bronze, and put Milani's Luminoso on the cheeks. To finish the skin I added a tiny bit of Mary Lou Manizer to the high points of the face.

On the eyes I used Maybelline's best product in my opinion, the Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze. Concentrating the majority of product on the lid and blending it out up to the crease, this cream shadow creates the most beautiful effect on the lids with no effort at all. I added bit more intensity to the upper lash line with Stila's Damsel eyeliner smudged out on the top, and also put a bit of the cream eyeshadow on my bottom lash line. A finishing touch from the Balm highlighter in the inner corners opened the eyes even more and adding my favourite mascara of the moment the
L'oréal Volume Million Lashes Excess pulled the look together.

I quickly filled in my brows with the help of MAC's Omega shadow and an angled brush, and put on the Nars Sheer Lipstick in Dolce Vita, and that was my makeup done!
